What is mediation?

Mediation is a voluntary, confidential means by which parties attempt to resolve disputes.  Mediation can occur before or after a lawsuit is filed.  Unlike the judicial process, where a judge or jury picks a winner or loser, mediation allows all parties to craft a resolution that can bring greater stability and satisfaction to the outcome.  It rewards direct but empathetic communication and creative, win-win thinking; hallmarks of Brian’s practice.
