Brian’s practice encompasses a broad spectrum of civil issues with several areas of emphasis.
Brian prides himself on his ability to maintain a personable approach, even when a situation requires aggressive tactics. He understands that many cases carry both a practical and emotional dimension, and that addressing each is essential to exceeding client expectations. He genuinely cares about the people and businesses he represents.
Brian is privileged to have been invited to join the University of Washington School of Law’s faculty as an adjunct professor of Negotiations.
He is licensed to practice law in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
Personal
Brian extends that caring into the community, devoting time and energy to the Breakthrough T1D and other charitable organizations.
He is a former President of the Board of Directors of Jet City Improv. He used to perform improv and stand-up comedy, though his primary (and occasionally willing) audience is now his wife, Sarah, and their four children.
He is a devoted fan of both the New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners, who have appeared in the World Series a combined 41 times.
Brian was born and raised in Ames, Iowa.
