Aqdar Awadh is a rising third-year law student at the University of Washington School of Law. She is a member of the Technology and Public Policy Clinic, the Technology Law Society, and the First Generation Law Students Association. In Winter 2025, she was a semifinalist in the school’s Negotiation Competition.
Aqdar recently completed an externship with the Seattle City Attorney’s Office in the Employment Section, where she conducted legal research, drafted motions and declarations, and supported litigation in employment-related matters. In Summer 2024, Aqdar served as a Lay Advocate with the Tribal Public Defense Clinic at the Tulalip Tribal Court, where she passed the Tulalip Bar and represented defendants in arraignments and pre-trial hearings. During her 2L year, she worked as Chief Law Clerk at Goldstein Law Firm, assisting with franchise litigation, legal research, and brief writing in both federal and state courts.
Personal
Outside of work and academics, Aqdar enjoys rewatching Friends, hosting holiday gatherings, exploring sunny destinations, visiting Disney Parks, and taking long walks with her baby fur, Molly.
